Application
The particular formula of the eight segment tooling provide added lifetime.
The bush hammer is ideal for exterior applications. They create a bush-hammered profile on concrete, ideal for use on exterior spaces and creating anti-slip surfaces. They also work great for removal of thin coatings when prepping the floor for epoxy application.
Bush hammers are not recommended for use with high RPM machines, such as Lavina propane machines. Typically, you should use bush hammers with no more than 700 RPMs.
Advantages
Uses standard QuickChange technology, sliding easily in and out the plate with no bolting required.
Fits all Lavina grinders as well as all other grinders using a QC adapter plate.
Bush hammers are one-step method for stripping, cleaning and profiling (CSP 3,4,and 5) concrete surfaces in preparation for epoxy coatings and self-leveling or polymer overlays.
The process is cost-effective, produces very little airborne dust, and it does not micro fracture the surface.
Removal rates from 200 to 2000 sf/hr, depending on the grinder size and thickness of the coating.
